![]() It’s smooth, simple and as easy to set up as pushing the cursor through from one display to the other. This is also useful if you have a hot corner on the lower right hand corner of the Mac set to Quick Note and don’t want that part of the edge to be used for Universal Control. ![]() ![]() You can even set it so that the the pointer moves smoothly between screens without suddenly jumping higher or lower. As you drag an item on the MacBook display, say, across the screen, you can watch as it slides out of view and simultaneously pops on to the adjacent iPad display. That may sound okay, but wait until you see it in action. It means that if you have multiple Macs or iPads, you can use the same mouse, keyboard and trackpad to control both. Strictly speaking, it is for iPadOS 15.4, which has entered public beta on the same schedule as iOS 15.4. And since it was promised with iOS 15, we’ve been waiting a long time for it. Universal Control as demonstrated at WWDC 2021.
